Our History
About Islamic Center
The “Onelunga Islamic Centre” was established in June 2007 as we bought the premises which was used as church before.
Since then we are using the premise as our mosque where we have main prayer hall, ladies room, office and ablution area etc. facilities. We have wheelchair access as well.
The centre being used as focal point provides paryers, madrasa, religious activities, communal programs, events and special lectures from scholars.
We are planning for site expansion and renovations and resource consent has been granted, which will accommodate more individuals.
Trust is fully managed for its all activities and finance and management by trustees.
Trust is registered as charitable organization with registration No. CC52715
